26th October 2009: Chris Raine, Country President of Alstom in Australia and New Zealand gave a key note speech on 'Clean Power' at the Queensland Power & Gas Conference in Brisbane. The speech outlined Alstom's approach to decarbonising power generation through the use of a balanced portfolio of power generation technologies, improving production efficiency, and carbon capture and storage.

The speech supports the messages communicated at the Clean Power Today!^TM Roadshow in July 2009, with some updates especially regarding Alstom's recent successes in the wind turbine and carbon capture and storage markets.
